			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It may be quite surprising, but the vast majority of people in the  United States do not keep a comprehensive and up to date Personal Health  Record.  This is a mistake as there are many benefits from making sure  that a person&#8217;s medical details are as thorough as possible.  Generally,  a Personal Health Record will refer to all the medical information in a  person&#8217;s life.  This will include all health issues, medications that  are taken, and any surgical procedures or other problems that the  patient has undergone.  In this manner, the Well Being of the person is  efficiently chronicled, leading to many possible benefits.</p>

<p>In  modern times, a person has the option to transmit their Personal Health  Record online.  This is becoming an increasingly popular decision  because doctors are now able to retrieve the relevant data quite easily  and there are no forms to be filled out.  With typical patient forms,  seemingly small things may be forgotten, but could play a major part in  treatment for a condition or problem.  For the best possible Well Being,  all of these details should be communicated to any physician or other  medical personnel that will be providing treatment.  Physicians are now  using the data found in health record databases to monitor disease  outbreaks and providing easy access to treatment for patients of  specific conditions.  Using the online Personal Health Record option  will allow a patient to make sure that the doctors have the right  information to make an informed decision about the best method of  treatment.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For a person to be truly healthy, a combination of strong physical,  emotional, and Mental Health must be achieved. Mental Health is often  the hardest of these aspects to define as what is normal mental thought  patterns can change wildly between different cultures and different life  experiences. However, one of the best ways to learn about what this  term means is to look at the Mental Health Disorders that define what is  not positive health of the mind. In fact, many psychiatrist use the  absence of Mental Health Issues as one of the ways to assess how a  person is doing mentally. There are certain mental conditions that are  quite common and many experts believe that they are a normal part of  life. Every single person will experience some depression or anxiety in  their life, but their response is often what defines their state of  mind. In addition, many psychiatrists and psychologists look at the  person&#8217;s ability to cope with challenges as a way to define mental  wellness. Other mental problems, such as schizophrenia and bipolar  disorder are much more complicated and indicate a problem with how the  brain processes everyday events of a person&#8217;s life.</p>
<p>The  definitions of true mental well being and health often incorporate a  number of aspects. To be healthy, most people are said to be capable of  having a full life and are not hindered by having Mental Health  Disorders that could prevent the enjoyment of a normal life. The most  famous mental wellness model was created by Myers, Witmer, and Sweeney.  These three psychologists listed 17 different areas of a person&#8217;s life  that could serve as indicators that the person is functioning on a  mentally healthy level. These areas include the following factors:  essence of spirituality, friendship, self-direction, love, work and  leisure, sense of worth, realistic beliefs, problem solving, nutrition,  sense of humor, self care, gender identity, cultural identity,  creativity, sense of control, emotional awareness, exercise, and stress  management. With these factors, a person can be successfully diagnosed  as having good mental wellness.</p>
<p>If a person is able to have  acceptable rankings in all of these areas, it is generally thought that  the person does not suffer from any mental illness, but it does not  necessarily mean that the person is healthy in the mental sense. There  are often cultural and religious considerations that will provide a  frame of reference for diagnosing a person and all examinations will  need to pay close attention to the cultural side of the patient&#8217;s life  to determine how mentally healthy the person is. In addition, some  knowledge about the person&#8217;s sociological condition or anthropological  background may be relevant to the mental wellness of the person. Mental  Health is often a highly subjective term and an accurate assessment of a  person&#8217;s mental wellness incorporates much more than simply how they  feel.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While the term of physical health can be quite easy to understand, most  people have difficulties fully grasping the subject of emotional health.   In contrast to the more obvious physical health, what defines  emotional health and wellness is often not so clear. In addition,  because of the nature of emotional health, it can be difiicult to test  someone to assess their individual condition regarding their emotions.  By developing a deeper understanding of emotional health and wellness, a  person will be able to improve their overall health, leading to a  higher quality of life.</p>
<p>In simple terms, the emotional health of a  person is the balance between the naturally occurring emotions that the  person feels. While everyone has highs and lows, poor health of an  emotional type is often when the person has little control over their  emotions and has rapid or dramatic changes between emotions. A person  with sufficient control over their emotions will still be subject to the  everyday ups and downs of life, but will understand how to positively  deal with problems. These people commonly set aside time for themselves  to create a balance of emotions. Other positive behaviors that can make a  difference include eating a healthy diet, avoiding drugs and alcohol,  maintaining an active exercise program, and spending time with family  and friends. In this manner, the person is constantly looking at their  own emotional responses and actively working to keep a healthy balance.</p>
<p>When  a person goes through traumatic life events, their emotional health and  wellness often suffer. Instead of maintaining a natural balance between  the highs and lows, a person can find that they spend more time in  depressive moods. Although being depressed is a normal part of the life  experience, having chronic bouts of depression can actually be a sign of  a more serious underlying problem. For this reason, it can be quite  hard to gain control of the emotional problems that the person is  having. However, there are a few options for treating a person that has  emotional problems.</p>
<p>Personal and group counseling are two of the  more common methods that are used to help a person regain control of  their emotions. In this form of cognitive therapy, a person is asked to  examine their emotions and the depper reasons behind their feelings.  Through the act of personal introspection, a person can determine  whether the emotions they are feeling are truly the logical emotions  that should be felt. In many cases, this examination will lead to a  person being able to change their thought patterns and eliminate the  cycle of negative thoughts and emotions. Another treatment option is  through the use of medication. For some people, hormonal imbalances of  other problems can be the cause of their emotional instability.  By  using proven medications, the problems can be conquered and the  emotional health will be improved.</p>

I take daily health supplements to make sure that I am getting all of the necessary vitamins and minerals. I want to change my diet because I know that fast food contributes to high blood cholesterol. I have a family history of heart disease so I must regularly monitor my blood pressure and my blood cholesterol levels.</p>
<p>Currently, the only two positive things that I am doing for my body is taking daily health supplements and drinking eight glasses of water a day. I am blessed to have a high metabolism that allows me to eat junk food without gaining weight. Even though I remain slim and <a href="http://www.mayoclinic.com">healthy</a> on the outside, on the inside my body is suffering as my arteries are clogging up with the cholesterol contained in junk food. This causes a restriction on the blood flow which can lead to numerous diseases and even cause a heart attack. Health supplements help lower bad cholesterol levels.</p>
<p>I am aware that I need to change my eating habits and I am determined to do so during this month. I still want to take the health supplements as extra help to keep me healthy. I will learn how to cook basic meals like chicken, fish, rice and pasta and I will stop ordering take out. It wont be an easy change however I know that I can accomplish anything when I give it my best.</p>

The most common diseases that affect men are heart disease,  high blood pressure, and gastrointestinal cancer. Doctors still don’t  have a clear explanation as to why these three diseases are more common  in men than in women.  My personal life has always been linked to mens  health issues because my husband suffers from high blood cholesterol and  my father in law passed away last year from complications of a bypass  surgery.</p>
<p>A couple of years ago my husband finally understood that If he  didn’t make a drastic change in his lifestyle he was probably going to  suffer from heat attacks, like his father and his grandfather did. Mens  health issue became a priority in my house.  Part of the changes he made  was that he started to exercise, we jog together each morning, and he  stopped eating fried, processed foods and red meat.  As a result he lost  weight and his blood cholesterol levels decreases significantly.</p>

Technological and medical advances have granted us the possibility to  prevent, fight, and overcome otherwise deadly diseases. I motivate my husband everyday to keep his  healthy life style by cooking balanced, satisfying meals and by  exercising with him. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div style="text-align: justify;">Diet and nutrition are in my opinion the keys for you to achieve  excellence, it is the way in which you are going to accomplish all of  your goals, and this is because when you are over weight, you might tend  to feel a bit down, a bit sad because of your appearance, and that is  just where <a href="http://www.usa.gov/Citizen/Topics/Health.shtml">diet and a good nutrition</a> come in, let me explain better,  diet, will allow you to loose weight, also, it will teach you how to  properly eat in order for you to maintain an ideal weight in the future,  and nutrition, will teach you all you need to know so you can always  have the proper amount of elements your body needs to function properly.</p>
<p>To achieve weight loss, is always something to consider greatly,  specially if you need to achieve that weight loss, what I am trying to  say is that weight loss when you are really over weight is a must, and  to achieve that weight loss will make you feel a lot better, you will  see that in no way it is difficult to manage this weight loss when you  really mean to do it, in other words, what is really important is to  gain a mental state in which you can be able of convincing yourself that  you are capable of doing anything that you think you can do.</p>
<p>Fitness is what you want to achieve, remember, fitness is the  most entertain exercise you could ever do, with exercise like fitness  you are never going to have to worry about any other kinds on exercise,  this fitness is made so you can get to were you need to be in terms of  body shape, there is simply no excuse as to why should you do any other  thing, apart from fitness, exercise, diet and a great nutrition.</p>
